Lynny: The Call from God

My name is Lynny and I have many testimonies. I think I have seen God's works too many times to write. One of my testimonies is when I heard Jesus's call. I was in kindergarten and was at my friend's house. On that day of the week, my class got to go to the school library. Each of us got to pick one book, it was one of my favorite days of the week. When I went to visit my friend, I would have a book from the library that we would read together. Once, when I went to my bag to get the book, I heard a voice. The voice sounded like a trumpet. And I heard it call my name. "Lynny, Lynny!". At first, I was confused. I thought it was my friend calling me. I went and asked her, but she said she hadn't called me. I wondered if I had just imagined things, but it was too clear.  Then, she told me it might have been God calling. After a bit, I was sitting at home and reading the book of Revelation in the Bible. As I was going through it, I read a part that really stood out. "10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet 11 saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.” 12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a Son of Man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest." John had heard Jesus! A voice like a trumpet! It was Jesus! I had heard Jesus! I was very excited, God had called me! We have all been called and set apart by God. Each of us has been called by God (in one way or another: whether it is a dream, a voice, a message and others), the question is: will you answer?
